Inyanga install mooring lines for innovative floating wind technology

Eolink is a French company developing an innovative floating wind technology with a single point mooring system and aims at installing a 5 MW turbine at the SEM-REV test site in 2024. 

In July 2023, Inyanga installed the mooring lines. The operation was performed with difficult weather conditions and challenging soil conditions, in a very constraint area. The operation was performed using the AHTS Pacific Dispatch and included the use of a reaction anchor and a stevtensioner. One of the mooring lines had to be equipped with clump weights.
