Inyanga welcomes MP to hear about Welsh tidal energy project

Inyanga Marine Energy Group were pleased to welcome Llinos Medi Huws MP to meet the team at the Inyanga office in Wales this week.

Llinos Medi Huws is a Welsh Plaid Cymru politician and has served as MP for Yns Mon since 2024.

Chris Williams, Commercial Manager at Inyanga, said: “It was great to be able to explain our project at Morlais, off the coast of Anglesey, where we are now gearing up for deployment of our innovative HydroWing technology.

“We also explored ways forward for developing tidal energy further in Wales, helping to make the country a world leader in renewable energy technology.

“We appreciate Llinos Medi’s support, as well as the valuable support of the Welsh Government, and look forward to continuing to work together to deliver sustainable economic benefits for Wales, as we lead the way in tidal energy development.”
